It is hard to describe how anxiously everyone has been waiting for a midnight four days ago. The newest release of a legendary Call of Duty franchise – Black Ops 3, became available to the fans worldwide on November, 6.

Previous not so successful Call of Duty installments significantly shook the faith in the brand and its status quo but looks like Black Ops 3 managed to regain customers trust back and delivered an exciting content with a quality first person shooter fulfilling a lot of fans’ expectations.

Fans were pretty scared the game would turn out into another “futuristic bullshit” as game trailers showed team fascination with 2065 military technologies, weapons, characters skills and more. To everyone’s relief, Black Ops 3 continued the glorious traditions of the original Call of Duty games with its strong content, perfect game dynamics, beautiful visuals and just light modernized features like robots and some weaponry.

Campaign mode doesn’t offer any wild elements or surprises. It is a quality 10 hour journey through a worldwide warfare that takes place 40 years after the events of Black Ops 2 with varied and competent opponents and high tech technology.

Multiplayer delivers great value content with 12 cool map and probably the best online multiplayer mode since Black Ops 2. A new movement system that features characters’ spinning in the air, running on the walls, sliding across the floor gives players an amazing feeling of gaming environment. Weapons are pretty impressive, advanced rifles that will get you a one shot kill at a long distance are especially worth mentioning.

An innovation to the game would be so called Specialists. They are nine characters with unique set of abilities, either offensive or defensive. They are quite entertaining and definitely bring variety to the multiplayer routine while allowing players to earn extra points.

Zombie mode in Black Ops 3 is just a pure pleasure to play. It is a beautiful 1940ies setting with a great jazz soundtrack and its own progression system. The coolest option that has been added to the mode is an ability to become a beast when players can turn into a monster ripping the undead into pieces.

To sum up, Black Ops 3 is a worthy continuation of Black Ops gaming series that probably doesn’t bring any remarkable options to the table but offers just enough to keep fans interest to the series. Critics gave a 7 to 9 score to the game on a scale from 1 to 10.
