Last week EA announced the release of Battlefield 1 which was a true shocker to the fans as everyone was expecting the continuation of the main plot aka Battlefield 5 especially after series 2015 spin off Hardline. Battlefield 1 trailer got a record number of likes in YouTube history and that’s no wonder as it revealed the game return to the roots in terms of dynamics, spectacular battlefield, weaponry and the signature BF style. Here is what is known so far:
Battlefield 1 is set to be released on October, 21st but those who purchase Early Enlister edition will be able to start playing 3 days prior the official date. Developers made it clear the game is not going to be another Hardline sort of thing but will follow into traditional Battlefield patterns. Theoretically it’s the fifth installment of the Battlefield series that was strategically named Battlefield 1 for marketing purposes. Battlefield 1 brings up the World War I theme hence the number 1 is used to emphasize the fact and the history around the plot.
Hello COD fans, it’s been long five months since Activision released Call of Duty Black Ops 3 that has turned out to be the first game in a legendary series not to become a total failure in the past few years compared to its predecessors. Players have had a chance to play it, experience it, live it and to make a conclusion whether the franchise has re taken it’s place on the video games market. Most agreed that the game is significantly better than Advanced Warfare or Ghosts but still doesn’t offer a well paced dynamics or plot and features too many futuristic elements, referring to Modern Warfare as being the best Call of Duty game ever.
Developers analyzed the feedback and came up with a genius solution to introduce a new COD that won’t be like any other. Call of Duty Infinity Warfare will have an unusual plot and surroundings to attract new customers and will offer a nice bonus to the edition – a remastered version of Modern Warfare to win back the old ones!

Let us give you some more details on that:
With Bungie introducing microtransactions in Destiny, there are growing concerns what consumable items may come to the shared world shooter and the future for a price after a number of new options were discovered in patch files. Among the new items things like the ability to level gaming character’s equipped subclass, the ability to get more moldering shard in the raid and buff weapon drops were found. Luke Smith, a long time Bungie employee, hurried to calm fans down tweeting that the developer revealed no plans to start selling drop rate buffs. It has been a while since we last wrote the news on the legendary Battlefield franchise. To the delight of series fans, Hardline will become available for the EA Access Vault in a few days which will provide members unlimited access to the game.
More games such as Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, BF4, Dragon Age: Inquisition, FIFA15 and others have also been added to Vault.
Battlefield franchise is famous for it military warfare but Hardline new developers, Dead Space and Dante’s Inferno’s Visceral Games, went for an experiment and put a lot of emphasis on to a new option featuring robbers and cops theme.
Although BR Hardline can be considered a great addition to a Battlefield franchise family, video gaming industry experts express a lot of doubts whether the game will become very popular among true fans of the series due to its overall similarity with “normal” BF games.
Halo fans only have to wait as little as a month to begin enjoying the newest Halo franchise game, Halo 5 The Guardians, that is set to be officially released on October, 27th of this year. Yet there has been a lot of debate about game developers’ decision to remove split screen multiplayer option from Halo 5. 343 executives commented on the decision as the hardest one they have ever made and gave their reasons for it. Their main concern was the technical side of the game; they were worried about the game not being able to run properly if offered a split screen. Developers want gamers to enjoy a great visual experience Halo 5 has to offer and a screen divided into 2 or 4 parts would most likely make the game both look and play badly.

Everyone understands that long time Halo fans will miss the way the couch co-op experience used to be but the game had to be adjusted in accordance to the changes in the video game industry. Split screen play is generally down. Gamers nowadays prefer online play to anything else and the latest generation of gaming consoles such as Xbox One and Play Station 4 offer state of the at technical capabilities for it. Another reason is people’s inability to get together and play due to busy rhythms of life and schedules. We are not sure if the above reasons are just excuses to cut the split screen play from most popular games but gaming is definitely becoming a one person experience rather than a social thing like before. Although the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 gameplay trailer was release worldwide last week revealing lots of details on the game concept, warfare and weapons, we would still like to take a minute and break down BO3 teaser offered to the public a few days before the trailer.
The teaser contained a lot more information about the third Black Ops installment than it could seem at first sight. We are going to point out some key images from the teaser that stood out.
The first image of the teaser featured number 115 as you could notice. 115 element plays a huge role in the back story for Black Ops Zombies. It was actually found during WWI and was used to reanimate dead bodies – that’s how zombie came about. In Black Ops element 119 can be found on some of the zombies maps. This looks like a very clear hint on a big return for Zombie mode. On top of that image you can see coordinates which lead to a location near a river in Egypt. [Read more]
